Ontological metaphors in Quechua Ayacucho: personification and costing
Abstract
This research describes and explains linguistic expressions for the cultural environment of Quechua speakers of the Ayacuchano dialect. These expressions manifest cognitive processes such as personification and objectificacion. Our study has revealed how the Quechua speakers conceptualize their immediate reality through the rapprochement under whichthey experience with. Thus, the evidence regarding the Quechua speech language allows to sustain anunchangedstroke between language and culture in the Andean mentality.Downloads
