Abstract
The problem was that it was preceded by a set of "mulatto prints" consisting of two short novels and seven stories, a "prologue" referring only to "four stories" that seer in the 1951 edition. That is why, when I was in charge of a new edition of the Estampas Mulatas for the "Colección de Autores Peruanos" of the Editorial Universo Along with separating them into two initial novels - El Gaviota and El Kilómetro 83 - accompanied by the important prologue by Federico More with which they appeared in 1930 as an independent book (in which the term "mulatto prints" appeared as a sort of subtitle), this prologue by Diez-Conseco, which precedes the second section, "Cuentos", is the subject of the following precision.Downloads
