Uses of irony in the narrative of Washington Delgado
Abstract
The way in which Washington Delgado, outstanding oeta of the 50’s generation, uses a modality of irony for de description of the experience of death in his short story “The death of Dr. Octavio Aguilar” is analysed in this article. In the story, death es shown as th estate that explains the existential condition of the main caracter and as a presence felt from childhood, thus fit to be described.Downloads
