Carnap Reductionism

Keywords: Neo-positivism, Logics, Philosophy

Abstract

Although Rudolf Carnap was not the founder of the Vienna Circle, he became its most prominent representative. Because of his great contributions to logic, semantics and epistemology, he is a strong figure not only in contemporary philosophy but also in universal philosophy. Philosophy - even in the post-positivist era - values him as an exponent of one of its deepest traditions.
