Abstract
In Peru, engraving is one of the least studied plastic manifestations and a form of expression of singular importance, especially in colonial years, not only from the aesthetic or creative point of view, but also because of its documentary nature, being closely linked to the evolution of printing and bibliographic production. This motivated us to research and publish an essay on colonial engraving in Lima, published in Seville on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the creation of the printing press in Peru.Downloads
