Abstract

In this text we speak about the teaching of Alberto Escobar based on my personal experience. I will dwell on just one aspect. Almost four decades ago I was a student of his in the first year of the General Culture Section of our Faculty of Arts. Precisely in 1959, in a Lima of a little more than one million inhabitants concerned about the slow growth of its population, I had the good fortune to meet him.
